Jump Of The Month

I have had an idea in my head for a little while now. Something I have wanted to make and share with others, like myself who are looking to create a library of different jumps they can build. Because after setting up jumps for a while, it can get repetitive, and eventually all of your jumps end up being large cross rails with ground poles.

But as I have been building a lot of new and different jump components lately, I thought it would be fun to start a jump of the month. Kind of a jump of the month club. I like clubs, and I like jumps. But since this isn’t a club per say, how about we just have a jump of the month?

And since I have so many different jump ideas in my head, this gives me a way to get the jumps out of my head and into reality. While I am crafting these jumps, I wanted to be able to have a way to save them so I have made a PDF file of the photo below that I can print out, and put into a folder. So by the time I am done, I will have a complete catalog of different jump ideas that I can reconstruct into a real course.

This month I focused on more of a hunter jump. And I made 4 solid white rails, so I have lots of different options with the jump itself. Now I just have to make a few more pair of wing standards, and make a couple more rails, flower boxes, etc. To have a complete course, but this is a good start!

Jump Of The Month

This is one of the jumps I have shared a lot over the last 6 weeks. I showed you how to build the different components of this jump. From the wing standards, to the gate. You can find all of the instructions on my blog, so you can duplicate this jump.

You can build this complete jump for less than $125.00 or less. For me to build it, it cost about $67.00, because I already had the stain, and the jump cups. I only had to buy the wood. And I got a great deal on the flowers I used for the flower boxes.
