Save the Date! The Horse Shows are Coming!

It’s true! The horse shows are coming back to the Colorado Horse Park! And I, for one, am beyond excited. And this year, I am anxious to see the differences since the Horse Park was recently purchased by a group of local horse people. If you weren’t aware of this, check out this post.

If you don’t subscribe to The Langer Equestrian Group, you probably weren’t aware that they just released the prize list for the Colorado Spring Series that is coming up in May. And if you are wondering what this summer holds for Colorado equestrians, LEG has this awesome photo:

I love how they have a plan, and they are sharing that plan with us. I for one am very excited about the horse shows this spring and summer. And I am fairly confident my friend Lynda is already excited as well. We have already been planning and plotting our weekends for the summer shows.

The prize list is available as of now. You can go to LEG Shows and download it for yourself. It’s 68 pages of pure happiness.

I love that they have a tentative time schedule included within the prize list. Even though I won’t be competing, it is nice to have a schedule to know where all of the classes will be, as well as the timing. I am very happy that they are having the Welcome Stake and the Grand Prix on Saturday!

This makes it so nice for planning and of course – being able to be there! Especially as a spectator, it’s nice to be in the know.

And right now, I am in the process of trying to make my own coffee table book of all things Hunter/Jumper. And with all of these shows, I should have many photo opportunities for sure.

It would be ultra amazing if I was there showing my own horse. And maybe one day, that dream will become a reality. But for now, I am happy to be able to capture some wonderful memories. So hopefully by creating a photo book of some fantastical photos, I will inspire myself and maybe some other hopeful riders as well.

So get ready, get set, and here we go! The horse shows are coming! And the time to prepare is now! Sorry for all of the exclamation points. I just get so excited about this! I can’t help myself!

What a wonderful thing to look forward to and plan for. Thank you to Langer Equestrian Group as well as Singletree Equestrian/Littleton Equine Medical Center for coming together and keeping the Horse Park alive! I know the people who visit this park, competitors and spectators alike are looking forward to an incredible show season this year.

And hopefully, one day, I WILL be a competitor at the Horse Park too!
