Practical Stocking Stuffers For Horse People

Practical Stocking Stuffers For Horse People

Happy Christmas time! Christmas is just about here, and if you are anything like me, right now you are thinking about stocking stuffers. You know, little gifts to pack a stocking full of little treasures. And if you are looking for useful, and affordable options to fill an equestrian’s stocking, I thought this list of practical stocking stuffers for horse people might be helpful for you!

Practical Stocking Stuffers For Horse People

When you are searching for the perfect little present for someone to see first thing on Christmas morning, you go for stocking stuffer right? I love packing practical gifts into stockings. And thankfully I have a few equestrian friends that I can actually shop for. As well as these are some things I would LOVE to find in my own stocking!

At the time of writing this, all of these items are available right now on Amazon and will get here before Christmas with your Prime Membership!

Hoof Oil Brush With Cap

I love this thing! This is so handy to have in your grooming kit. No more will you be applying hoof ointments with your fingers! This hoof oil brush works great for both creams and oils.

Practical Stocking Stuffers For Horse People

It doesn’t take up very much room in a stocking, and it is definitely a useful item to have. I am sure you can find this in a local tack store for less than $5.00. But if you can’t find one, Amazon has them right now and it will get to you very quickly.

4 Pair Women’s Fleece Lined Winter Gloves

Not one, not two, but 4 pair of gloves! How cool is this??!?!? So this could fill 4 stockings! Or, fill a stocking and keep a pair for yourself. These fleece lined gloves will keep your hands warm and toasty at the barn, or just being outside.

Practical Stocking Stuffers For Horse People

They are even compatible with our touch screen phones! No more taking off your gloves in order to text, or do something on your phone when your outside. They come in different sets of colors, and they are really pretty too! I’m sure they won’t last forever, but having an extra set of gloves in the winter is always welcome.

O’Keeffe’s Hand and Foot Cream

This cream is the best! And in this pack – you get both the hand and foot cream! My hands get really dry -especially in the wintertime. Not only from all of my horse chores, but also from work. I have never kept track of how many times a day I wash my hands, but I would be willing to bet it’s at least 40 times a day. That really takes a toll on my hands.

And my feet? Well, they are always dry. But I have had great luck with O’Keeffe’s Working Hands and Healthy Feet creams. I love this stuff! These little tubs last a really long time, and I haven’t found anything that works better for preventing cracks in my feet, or my hands.

Burt Bee’s Lip Balm

And we can’t forget our lips right? And my most favorite lip balm by far is Burt Bee’s. I learned about this stuff by accident. But after the first time of using it – I was sold. The lip balm is awesome, and makes my lips soft, and helps to protect them.

I am addicted to lip balm I think, and I always have a tube (or two) in my purse, on my nightstand, and well, everywhere I go. And the flavor combinations they have are truly wonderful! So if you are searching for something small for a stocking – this Burt Bee’s 4 pack might be just what you have been looking for!

Insulated Water Bottle With Straw

Oh how I love my water bottle. I take this with me everywhere! Whoever decided to make insulated water bottles is a genius! And adding a straw to the lid – ultra genius!

And look at the pretty colors! Oh so pretty! And if you want to get really creative, you could get the water bottle, and then fill it with treats! How about some fancy chocolates, or fun horse socks, or well, whatever else you could think of that could fit inside the water bottle. But – if you do put stuff inside the bottle, make sure whatever is inside can be easily removed.

Massage Curry

And if you are looking for a fun new brush to make your equestrian smile, how about this massage curry? I actually have this, and it is awesome! My horses love being brushed with this curry brush. And it easily fits into your hand.

You don’t have to worry about the bristles getting bent when you pack it into the stocking either. It’s made from a plastic material, so the bristles bounce back and don’t get misshaped.

Manna Pro Bite-Size Peppermint Flavored Horse Treats

My horses LOVE these treats. And the fact that you can buy this in a little 1 pound bag is awesome. I think this is the lowest price I have ever found these for, less than $4.00 for a bag! That is a great deal, and it fills up empty space in a stocking quite nicely. Or you can spring for the 4lb bag for around $6.00. Not to bad right?

Practical Stocking Stuffers For Horse People

These are a nice small treat for your horse. I put a handful of them in my pocket when I am holding Plezant for the farrier, and he is working on his more challenging back legs. The treats keep his focus on me, and trying to get a treat. Whatever works right?

Woofhoof Horse Treat Pouch

And to go along with the horse treats, how about a pouch to carry the treats in? What a great idea! So no longer putting the treats in your pocket, and breaking apart and filling your pocket with treat crumbs. Read above to understand how I know about this.

This Horse Treat Pocket Pouch from Woofhoof is adorable! And it comes in different colors. At the time of writing this, they have black, blue and burgundy available for delivery before Christmas. If you are looking for the purple pouch, that one isn’t available. But, the rest are! The back of the pouch has a clip so you can hang it over your pants. Pretty smart, and easy to carry around with you!

Western Boot Christmas Stocking

And while we are filing the stocking, we can’t forget the stocking itself right? If your horse person is a western rider, how about a western boot Christmas stocking?

Isn’t this adorable? And it’s less than $20.00 and yes, it will get to you before Christmas! Or if you are looking for a more traditionally shaped stocking, but still want a horse on it you could get this one, also less than $20.00:

Practical Stocking Stuffers For Horse People

It is awfully cute, wouldn’t you agree? You could even personalize it by writing the recipients name in glitter glue!

Ultimate Hoof Pick Junior

All right, I have had so many people tell me this is truly the ultimate hoof pick, and they are right. Now this is a little bit smaller version of the original Ultimate Hoof Pick. This is the junior (smaller) version. It is 6.5″ long versus the original at 8″ long. For me, the smaller one works well, because it fits perfectly into my hand.

It is super strong, the metal doesn’t bend. And the handle is super easy to grip. So yes, I believe this truly is the ultimate hoof pick. It works great, and I love how the hoof pick fits into my hand. But I wasn’t sure about spending $17.00 on a hoof pick. But trust me, it is worth the investment. Once you try it, you will be sold on it too! Oh, and it also is guaranteed for life. How’s that for proof of how awesome this hoof pick is?

Practical Stocking Stuffers For Horse People

Well how about that list? Does that help you come up with some original ideas to help fill some stockings? I Hope so! And these stocking stuffers aren’t just for horse people. I am pretty confident anyone you are searching for fillers for stockings this Christmas would be super happy to have most of these. Maybe not the hoof pick, but I could be wrong!
