Happy 4th of July! Hopefully you are able to find some way to celebrate this American holiday. And if you’re anything like me, without fireworks if you have horses. But in light of the entire world COVID shut down, one way you could celebrate is to do a little online shopping. And there are a couple of online equestrian retailers who are having 4th of July equestrian sales!
I love horse stuff. And if I can get it on sale, well that makes me even happier. So I thought I would share with you some of the deals going on at some of my favorite places to shop for horse stuff online.
Riding Warehouse
Going on right now, Riding Warehouse is having an Independence Day sale. And they are offering 15% off their entire site! This even includes their clearance section, which is where I usually go to shop first.
And do I need anything, really? Nope, not a thing. But, that doesn’t mean I won’t be shopping! I found two things that are really awesome to add to my growing matchy matchy saddle pad and bonnet collection.
A New Saddle Pad of Course

The first thing I found is this Weatherbeeta Prime Bling Jump Saddle Pad. It’s GORGEOUS! And it comes in a color I don’t have yet, maroon. It definitely has the bling! The regular price is $52.79. Which honestly isn’t too bad. But then when you add in the 15% discount, the price drops to $44.87. I like that even better!
And an Ear Bonnet too
And even better, they have the matching ear bonnet in stock.

So bonus points for having a matching ear bonnet to Weatherbeeta! And just like the saddle pad, the bonnet has some bling as well.

I love the silver cordage along with the little rhinestones. And the added straps to keep the bonnet in place is a nice addition. The regular price of the bonnet is $32.99, but with the 15% off the price drops to $28.04. That’s enough for me to make the decision to buy both of these.
And then while I was perusing and drooling over all of the tack, I found this bridle:

This is a bridle by Bobby’s Tack and it’s called the Fancy Stitched Padded Wide Noseband Bridle. Isn’t it beautiful? The reason I was looking at the particular brand of bridle is when I got Plezant, he came with his bridle which was a Bobby’s Tack Bridle. This bridle is really nice. But the leather doesn’t match either one of my saddles. And the noseband has started to drop. I have never bought a bridle for Plezant, I thought it would be nice for him to have his own bridle so I can keep the bit he is working best with on.
4th of July Equestrian Sales
Riding Warehouse’s regular price on this bridle is $174.95. But add in the automatic 15% off and the price drops to 148.71. Not too bad for a Bobby’s bridle!
Also, remember if you make a purchase from Riding Warehouse over $75.00, they offer free shipping. And that’s always something nice, don’t you think? But if you want to take advantage of this sale at Riding Warehouse, you need to act now! The deals are only available through July 6th!
Jeffers
Now I have never seen that Jeffers has had a sitewide sale like this. But they are getting in on the sales this year too. Jeffers is offering 10% off with the promo code 4J20 so make sure to enter this promo code in order to get your discount at check out!
So just like Riding Warehouse, I went window shopping at Jeffers to see if there was anything I felt I needed to buy. And I did find a few things.
Uniquely English Tendon Boots

I bought a pair of these boots when I had Ethan. They are very nice open front boots that are affordable. But the boots I have are too small for Plezant. So I decided to buy a pair in Plezant size, which is the largest size possible, because this boy has some legs.
Even if these weren’t on sale, they are still a great deal at $39.99. But put your 10% off code in, and they drop down to $36.09.
They are great boots that offer protection, and are very easy to clean.
Winky Wash

I love the name of this stuff. Winky Wash lol. This is a task I have been putting off, but I need to do it. Winky Wash is a gentle cleanser for washing your horse’s um, well, how do I say this tactfully? His (or her) private parts. And a 16 ounce bottle of this stuff will last a while. At $18.99, it’s a good buy. And then because of the discount, yep it’s even better.
While I think it would make a good video, I just can’t bring myself to showing how to do sheath cleaning. I just do it. And it’s nice to have a gentle cleanser to get the job done. So just know in the next couple of weeks, my boys will be clean done there.
This coupon code for Jeffers is good through July 6th. So it’s at least worth a look to see if there is anything you need for your horses. And another bonus is Jeffers offers free shipping on orders over $49.00. But remember – you have to put in the code 4J20 in order to save the 10%! So don’t forget to enter your discount code!
4th of July Equestrian Sales
I’m sure there are more deals out there. But for now, these were some pretty substantial sales that I found, and I wanted to share them with you.

As a side note, with the whole COVID thing, I have noticed getting orders is taking longer, even with fast shipping. Which makes me think about starting to shop NOW for Christmas. And when my favorite horse stores have deals like this, I think it’s a good idea to plan ahead and maybe do a little Christmas shopping now. Sure it doesn’t have the feeling of Christmas right now, but I will definitely have a jump start on my holiday shopping! And hopefully be able to get some cool things for my horsey friends. Or if you are wanting to get a jump start on Christmas, why not DIY some gifts? You got the time right now, so why not make something?
