My Favorite Breeches

I got a new pair of breeches about a week ago. I have several pair already, but I find that I prefer the full seat breech the best, and I wanted a nice pair of breeches, and I found these. I am so impressed with them, I thought I would share the details with you, because they really are just fabulous!

To begin, I am not a size 2. And I have had 3 children. So let’s just say, I do not have the idealistic girlish figure. So finding the perfect breech has not really been easy for me.  No matter what type I have found or previously bought, my tummy pouches out. And let’s be honest, that is not a very nice look.

I am already self-conscious of my weight (which I am working on) and breeches seems to accentuate everything that is wrong with my body.

That is until I found these breeches!

Ovation Slim Secret Full Seat Breeches

I was looking to buy boots for showing this summer, and thought I would like to get a nice pair of breeches that I can feel comfortable in. And they had to have the full seat too. So while I was looking online at Dover Saddlery I found a pair of breeches that looked like they would fulfill my needs.

They are called The Ovation Slim Secret Full Seat Breech. They are designed with a secret slimming panel to help keep in that tummy! They are made from a four-way stretch fabric and memory-stretch fabric that maintain their shape and eliminate bagging or sagging.  And the bottoms are great, they are like socks, so no Velcro fasteners on the bottom of your breeches!

So what does this mean? It means, if you have a mom body, or are a plus size rider, these breeches will make you feel better about how you look in the saddle.

I have ridden in them 5 or 6 times so far, and washed them as well. They wash easily, and come out looking great. The fabric is sturdy, and the full seat portion is fantastic. I could wear these all day with no problem. And I don’t feel as self-conscious, or like I have to suck in my tummy when I am riding!

I love these breeches.

Affordable Style

They are very comfortable to ride in. And taking them off is easy because of the sock like bottom. Because of this, they also fit really nicely under boots.

This is my first pair of these breeches, and I bought them in gray, which I love. But they also come in black, Monaco blue, show tan, taupe and white. SO you have a lot of color selection of a very well made breech.

The next pair of breeches I will be buying will be these, probably in show tan. No, they will not be Tailored Sportsman, but they will fit me, and make me feel more comfortable with how I look in the saddle.

They also make a knee patch version of these breeches, which I might try too.

As far as price, they are not the cheapest, or the most expensive. I think they are fairly priced for the quality you are getting.  They are around $100.00 on Amazon, and they come in sizes 26 through 40, so a wide range of sizes to fit most equestrians.

I personally love them, and I am grateful that I found them, which is why I wanted to share my personal experience with you.
