Saddle Box Subscription Box Review

March Saddle Box Review

I get so excited for the 15th of every month because this is when they ship out the monthly Saddle Box subscription boxes!

Every month, I get a Saddle Box subscription box in the mail. And every month after I get that box, I do a video sharing with you what is inside. But one thing I tend to forget to do is to also include a blog post about the Saddle Box.

And every week over on Saddle Box, I write a post for their blog too. Right now we are currently in the middle of a 6 week challenge I am doing with Ethan, and it’s going pretty well so far. If you would like to read more about that, please click here.

But back to my review for the March Saddle Box Subscription…

Every month I have gotten a Saddle box in the mail, I have always been happy. The items that are included are full size, and they almost always have a gourmet horse treat included. That is my horse’s favorite part of the Saddle Box.

March’s box is nice. I am really happy with the items that were included.

Stiff Brush

saddle box review

I love this little brush. The bristles are stiff, but not too stiff. And the size of the brush is perfect, well at least for my hand it is. The strap is more of a ribbon, so we will have to see how long it lasts, buy overall I really do like this brush.

De-wormer Paste

Saddle box subscription box review

I know this isn’t fancy, but it served as a reminder to me that yes, it is that time of year, time to de-worm horses!

This is the generic ivermectin paste, but it works!

Carrot Crunchies Horse Treats

Saddle Box Review

Yes, these are my horses favorite part of the Saddle Box, gourmet horse treats. And my favorite part is that if my horses like them, I can make the treats again by going over to the Saddle Boxes website and getting the recipe. I have made many of the treat recipes from Saddle box and they are really easy to make with simple ingredients. Mine never look quite as pretty as the Saddle Box snacks do, but my horses don’t seem to mind a bit.

They also always include a candy stick, and this month it was a green apple one.

Horse Rules Book

saddle box review

I really like this book. Willow Creek Press seems to have a lot of little horse books like this. And if you are a horse lover, I think you would enjoy these books too. I am happy to be able to have a new book to add to my equestrian library.

There are some really nice photos, and some very inspirational quotes in this book.

Jack’s Horse Shaped Sponge

saddle box review

This is just so cute. I am not a huge user of sponges when it comes to bathing my horses. But this year, I will have to try it because I love this sponge! It seems to be a great sponge, and I love that it looks like a horse.

Epona Wooden Handle Hoof Pick

saddle box monthly review

This is a really nice hoof pick. It is much larger than your typical hoof pick. I think this wound be great during the winter, especially if your horse gets big snowballs packed in his hooves. The wooden handle is really nice too, giving you a large surface to hold on to when picking hooves.

Hoofmaker Hoof Cream

saddle box review

Have you ever tried Hoofmaker on your horse’s hooves? If you haven’t, you should. This is a fantastic conditioner for dry hooves. It also works great as a thick cream for your own dried out hands. You can rub it on with your fingertips, or you can put it in a jar and apply it with a hoof brush. This is how I like to apply it to my horses hooves.

I Love Saddle Box

And that is it! 7 very nice items included in this months subscription box. Overall, I am really happy with the box. All of the items inside are ones I will be using for my horses. I really feel that the Saddle Box is worth the $34.95 subscription price. It’s nice to get a surprise in the mail each month. And it’s even nicer when I can use all of the items in the box. If you have never tried them yet, what are you waiting for? Just go to Saddle Box’s website, and give them a try.

Or, if you are feeling lucky, you can enter for a chance to get your own Saddle Box for free, from me! Each month Saddle Box gives me a box that I give away to one of you. And this month is no exception!

And The Winner Is…

And to keep it fair, I use the random name picker to choose someone to get their own Saddle Box for free. So here are all of the names for this months drawing:
