July Saddle Box Subscription Monthly Horse Box Review

Better late than never! I received my Saddle Box in the mail early last week. And I have been meaning to share it with you, but life has gotten a little busy! I am working on crafting a 31 day challenge for August, so my time has been eaten up by writing posts, and creating videos for August. So my Saddle Box was just sitting there, and taunting me to open it. And I finally found the time, so I wanted to share this months box with you!

What is Saddle Box?

Saddle box is a monthly subscription box that is delivered to your home once a month. You can sign up for one month, or more by visiting their website, Saddle Box.

And I have to say, I love Saddle Box! There are so many fun treats inside!

One of the best features is on the Saddle Box website, they share with you some of what will be inside the upcoming box. This way you will have an idea of what to expect, along with a few surprises in the box.

I also wrote a blog post review of the June Saddle Box. That was my first month of trying this subscription box. And after receiving it, and visiting the Saddle Box website, I was hooked.

July Saddle Box Surprises

The box this month was fantastic! This is what I got:

Pyranha Fly Spray

saddle box

This is a nice fly spray that is water based. The spray comes out in a fine mist, and seems to be fairly effective against the flying pests. When it gets windy though, it is difficult to get the fly spray to go where I want it, because the mist is so fine. But if there is no wind, it works great. I have had better success with applying it on a rag and then wiping it on. So it works good for faces.

Cordeo Neck Rope

I am really excited about using this! This is a tool to help you when riding bridleless. I want to spend some time practicing, but I see a couple of videos about it in my future. So stay tuned to my YouTube channel to watch the progress! After August of course!

Polo Wraps (Set of 2)

These are so nice! They are super soft, and I love the pattern. These like the cordeo were made by Painted Patterns.

Mustang Muffin Horse Treats

saddle box

I love horse treats, and I know my horses do too. I think this is what I most look forward too in the Saddle box. Mainly because I get to try the treats (well my horses do) and if they are a hit, I can go over to the Saddle Box website, and they have the recipes! And then I can make my own batch of the treats. This is a genius idea by the way!

Epona Compression Equestrian Boot Socks

Ok, I love bling, and these socks deliver! They have a nice amount of compression, and fit very nicely under my tall boots.

I am really getting a large collection of boot socks, and so far I like these the best.

Cotton Candy Stick Candy

I am not sure if this was meant to be for my horses, or for me. And even though I love cotton candy, I think I will use it as a treat for my boys. Or, maybe we could share.

Horse Mane and Tail Comb

saddle box

I can never have enough grooming tools, and this comb is a nice addition to my grooming box. It has a nice grippy handle, and works great for sectioning off Ethan’s mane for rubber bands.

The Heart of My Horse Book

saddle box

I really like that they have included a book in each of the monthly boxes so far. My library is growing now. And when I have a few down moments, I will be reading this book. I love horse books, and building my equestrian library.

Yeah or Neigh?

I look forward to this box every month. I have only subscribed for 2 boxes so far, so that isn’t very long. But, the box is great, and the items included have been very useful. And some of the products that are included have encouraged me to try something different with my horses. Receiving the Saddle box encourages me to do something with my boys that I hadn’t thought of, like giving my horses a massage, or learning how to ride bridleless. So if you were to ask me if this subscription is worth the cost, I would have to exclaim, YES!

Don’t just take my word for it, try it for yourself. You can get your own monthly saddle box here.

Until next time, stay passionate, and enjoy your ride!

Wondering if you still like the box. I got my first one in the mail – March 2018. Cheapest prices I could find on the internet put the box at $22.07 and the highest prices $34.95. Wondering if this is normal? I’m use to boxes that have a greater value than I pay for them.

        Hi Vicki,
I do still subscribe to The Saddle Box. I like it, and it’s a nice surprise to get in the mail every month 🙂

Hi, I’m trying to cancel my saddle box right now for a little bit but I’m not sure how to do it?

      • Lisa

        Hi Dani,
I found this on their website:
        Membership Cancellations

If you are not completely satisfied with SaddleBox, you can cancel your membership and discontinue your monthly payments at any time.

In order to cancel before you are re-billed for the next shipment, you must contact SaddleBox BY EMAIL prior to the renewal date on the 3rd of each month at contact@saddlebox.net. SaddleBox does not take cancellation notifications by phone messages or social media messages; cancellations are only accepted by email messages to contact@saddlebox.net.

If your membership has already renewed and you’d like to cancel that month’s shipment, you must request a refund before order processing begins on the 5th day of the month to be eligible for the refund.

IF YOU DO NOT REQUEST A REFUND PRIOR TO THE 5TH DAY OF A CALENDAR MONTH, YOU CANNOT BE REFUNDED FOR THE UPCOMING SHIPMENT. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS AFTER THE 5TH DAY OF THE MONTH.

If you have already paid for a box, cancelling your subscription does not initiate a refund unless it is specifically requested. The box you’ve paid for will still be shipped to you. We do not accept returns.

Gift subscriptions are NOT eligible for cancellations or refunds.

We may terminate your membership, without notice, for conduct we believe violates these Terms and Conditions or our policies, is harmful to our business interests, or for an inactive account.

It is all the way at the bottom of the page under the link TOS (Terms of service)
I hope this helps you 🙂

Please cancel my saddle box subscription!

        • Lisa

          Hi Kayla,
You need to contact Saddle Box, not me. I am in no way affiliated with Saddle Box, I just did reviews of when I used to subscribe to their service.

        Hi Theresa,

EVERYTIME I try to cancel my MONTHLY subscription to this is sends me back information in SPANISH OR a different language I DON’T UNDERSTAND!
I can’t afford this EVER month!!! I bought this as a one time gift
I’ve sent numerous emails stating that! Had I known it would be this much of a issue I would have NEVER ordered from here!
I’m beyond frustrated and irritated by this.

CANCEL MY MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION TO THIS

      • Lisa

        Hi Shannon,
I am sorry you are having to deal with this. But I am not Saddle Box. I am in no way affiliated with Saddle Box. I had a subscription, just like you. I did find this on their website:

“If you are not completely satisfied with SaddleBox, you can cancel your membership and discontinue your monthly payments at any time.

In order to cancel before you are renewed for the next shipment, just contact SaddleBox by email prior to the renewal date on the 3rd of each month.

When cancelling, please be sure to indicate the name of the person who receives the monthly subscription.

Please note: SaddleBox accepts cancellation requests BY THE EMAIL ADDRESS PROVIDED ON THIS WEBSITE ONLY. Cancellation requests cannot be received by phone, social media messages, or messages to other email addresses. As well as being provided here on our website, this cancellation email address is also included in an automatically generated confirmation message that is sent to the email address you provide when you subscribe, in order for you to save the cancellation details for future reference.”

And this is the link of where I found it: https://www.saddlebox.net/how-do-i-cancel-my-account-cancellation-policy/

      please canceal all my orders

      • Lisa

PLEASE contact Saddle Box – I am NOT Saddle Box. Go on the Saddle Box website, and search cancel my subscription. You have to contact the company you are ordering from, and that isn’t me. So if you are finished with your subscription – I would suggest you contact Saddle Box. I’m just a blog that had subscribed to them a long time ago, Saddle Box is not my company.
