my Christmas wishlist

My Christmas Wish List

I am really beginning to get in the mood of Christmas. And that has me trying to come up with different things to ask for as a gift. And let me be honest, I really prefer to be the one giving gifts instead of receiving them. I’m a giver, and I like to give.

But that isn’t fair to my friends and family who also want to have something to give to me. So I have been thinking a lot about what I can ask for. What I would really like to have for a Christmas gift. And I know my family can’t afford to buy me my dream Antares close contact saddle.

my christmas wish list

But if Antares is reading my blog….I would LOVE this saddle, just in case you were looking for a small equestrian YouTuber/Blogger to promote….who loves your products, uses what she can afford, and would produce incredible videos to promote you in return, I’m your gal!

I decided to share some of my favorite horsey things. These are things I am putting on my Christmas wish list which are things that are practical, and I will really use. And they are affordable. So my friends and family can get me a gift, and I don’t have to worry that they spent way too much money on me!

Kiss My Horse XOXO Detangler and Shine

my christmas wish list

This should be no surprise, if you read my blog. I recently made a blog post review of this product. I LOVE this detangler! And since I just ran out, this would be a spectacular gift to receive for Christmas. Kiss My Horse XOXO shine and detangler is my most favorite product to use on my horses mane’s and tails.

Baby Groot

my Christmas wishlist

Ok, this isn’t horse related. But I just love Guardians of the Galaxy, and especially baby Groot! I mean really, he only says three words, ever…”I am Groot.” That’s it. But he is so adorable! And this one dances. I am beginning to have a collection of baby Groot’s, and I’m ok with that.

Royal King Ferruled Double Ear Show Headstall

my christmas wishlist

This is something I really want for next year. My goal is to take Ethan to a ‘real’ horse show, and I just love this bridle. It isn’t outrageously priced, and I think it looks like it would be nice enough for a local show. And there is just something I love about the double ear headstall, and of course the silver on it too!

This bridle comes in light and dark oil, and I would love the dark oil, because it will match my saddle. SO to my husband, or kids, if you are reading this, I want the dark oil headstall!

Real Women Ride No Knot Hair Net

my christmas wishlist

These are by far my most favorite hair nets I have ever used. They are easy to put on, and keep your hair out of the way when you are riding. And since I always wear my riding helmet no matter what discipline I am riding, I go through these things. They do last a long time, but not forever. I like that they have a stretchy elastic headband part that doesn’t cut into your head. I like that it is comfortable to wear, and easy to put on.

This is a great hair net, and would make a fantastic gift!

HAAS Finishing Brush

my christmas wishlist

Again, no surprise here to my readers. I am updating all of my brushes, and this is the next one on my list. The HAAS brushes are just so nice. Yes, they are expensive. But if you only do one brush at a time, or ask for it as a gift, then it isn’t too much money spent all at the same time.

I think this brush will be the last one I need to add to my collection of grooming brushes. Well, that is until they come out with a new one!

Coconut Oil

my christmas wish list

I know, this isn’t glamorous, but it is a great gift, in my opinion. I use coconut oil for my horses hooves, tails and manes, and even on their muzzles to give a nice soft glow when I’m taking photos of them. And this would be a big enough container to last me for a good long time! It may not be a wow gift for some, but for me, it is a practical gift that I will get a lot of use from.

Equivisor Cotton Helmet Visor

my christmas wishlist

I have wanted one of these for a long time now, but have not been able to justify buying it. But every time I am riding, and squinting to block the sun, I am wishing I had one! They seem to be getting better and better with the design, and this one has great reviews. So yes, I want an equivisor for Christmas!

Ariat Women’s Long Sleeve Sunstopper Polo

my christmas wishlist

I have always wanted to buy one of these Ariat sunstopper shirts, but again, it is a little out of my price range for a shirt. But hey, if someone else wants to buy this for me, I’m ok with that. These shirts are really nice, and they protect you from the sun. This is the ideal performance riding top that offers sun protection and performance features. Tailored from lightweight pique knit with breathable underarm paneling. Ariat’s MMT fabric technology wicks moisture away from the body to keep the rider cool and comfortable. Yes, I could see myself in this shirt this summer!

Really Happy Holidays

So hopefully that gives you (and my family) some different ideas of what is on my Christmas wish list this year. Some of the things I want are practical, and some are things I would love to have, but would not buy for myself. But for me the most important thing about this time of year is being with the people that I love. That is the greatest gift I could ever get. I love my family so very much, and I am happy knowing they will be spending the holidays at home, with me. And I guess I need to accept the fact that they want to give me a gift, just as much as I want to give one to them.

Hopefully this blog post will help them in their quest to find the perfect Christmas gift for mom. And then I will also know that they do read the articles I write!

I hope your holiday season is full of magic and love, and you are surrounded by friends and family that help you to celebrate this happy time of year!
