Well here we are at day number 22 in my 30-day blogging challenge! This is 22 days down, 8 more to go! I wanted to offer a little more to you about myself, and thanks to the incredible blog She Moved To Texas, I found her 30-day blogging challenge and decided to emulate what she had done. And today is a new day, so a new topic. Today’s post is more of a list really. You know your an equestrian when, because well, I think I quailify as an equestrian because of the reasons below.
30 Day Blogging Challenge Day 22-You Know You’re an Equestrian When
- You would rather clean your barn than your house.
- You assume a 2-point position when going over a speed bump in your car.
- When looking at houses for sale you always look at the barn before the house.

- Your vacation planning centers around your riding discipline, “How about we go to Wellington for vacation instead of Hawaii…”
- You search for leather scented candles.

- You enjoy spending your free time with your horse rather than people.
- You find hay in all your coat pockets.
- You find horse treats in all your coat pockets.
- You spend more money on horse grooming items than your own.

- You have horse brushes in your dishwasher.
- You would rather go to a tack store than the mall.

- All your holiday plans include your horses.
- Your Facebook profile photo is you and your horse, or your horse.

- You live your life by the quote; “Eat. Sleep. Ride.”
- You can fix anything with vet wrap, duct tape or bailing twine.
- You request days of from work for vet and farrier appointments.
- Your phone is full of photos like this:

- You judge how actors ride horses in movies.
- You spend 15 minutes to get ready for work or school in the morning, but can spend an hour brushing your horse.
- You spend more on your horse show clothing, and bargain shop for the rest of your wardrobe.
How about you? Any ideas to add to this list?

The last one is very true, I have no problem spending a $100 or more on show clothing but I refuse to spend more than $10 on a casual shirt!
Thank you for this hilarious (and true) strip! Made my day ten times better!
