I Have Found My Dream Home
I am obsessed with looking at houses for sale. If Realtor.Com were a person, I would be considered a stalker. The first thing I do every morning is search for my dream home. And I think that my obsessive searching has paid off. I think I have found my dream home.
It’s smaller than the house we have now, a lot smaller. At 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, it is about half the size of our current home. But with only one child still at home, that’s ok. But where the home is smaller, the property is bigger, about twice the size of what we currently have.
And the best part of this property is there is no HOA. No more neighbors judging our property and telling us what we can and can’t do.
Considering An Entire Property
But even better than that is, there is a real barn for my horses! It must be a horse person thing, because after glancing at the home I search the aerial photos to make sure there is a barn. If there is no barn, the house is off my list. But if there is a true barn, then I look to see if the home would be a possibility.
But I am 99% sure my search is over, because I am confident I have found a home that checks all the must have boxes.
I haven’t even driven by the house yet, or seen the inside, but when I saw it online, it captured my heart.
My husband calls it “The Gnome Home”. Because it looks like a gnome house, it’s so cute!
We will see how this goes, and I may do a walk through and have my ideal home change, but I will never know unless I go look, which I am hopeful will be happening this evening. We will see if any of the realtors I have dealt with will humor me and walk me through this adorable little home.
And even though this post is a little different from what I normally write, it still revolves around my horses, and how to make the most of what you have, and fingers crossed, I will be writing again soon about my little gnome home!
