Life Happens
So I was able to get my bare minimum of videos up this week, which was difficult. Not only am I running my blog, and YouTube channel, but my “real” job has been taking the majority of my time the last month. I think some of you may know that during the day, I am a Registered Nurse. And I specialize in orthopedics (bones and muscles) with an even more specialization of being the foot nurse. What this means is I deal with feet on a daily basis. And I love what I do.
But we have had some changes in how we do things lately, and because of this, I have to get certified in advanced wound care. So for the last month, I have been juggling horses, YouTube, my blog, and taking a class on advanced wound care. It has been very challenging to say the least! But happily I can report that I passed my class, and got a 90% on the final exam. And I am completely happy with that score. 80% is passing, so I passed! Yay!
So now that my class is done, I can breathe for a little bit, until I have to take the certification exam. (GASP!) But what this means is I can again return to dedicating a lot of my time to my other 2 passions, my horses, and making YouTube videos! (And writing blog posts, so 3 passions.)
So hopefully I can get back to being an overachiever again, and upload at least 4 videos a week. And this is my weekly video recap for the past week.
Budget Equestrian Weekly Video Recap
So without further adieu, here is my weekly video recap!
Come Shopping With Me! A Vlog
I wasn’t really sure if this would be interesting or not, but I thought what the heck, I’m going to try something different! So I decided to take you the viewer with me as I went and did a little shopping. It isn’t glamorous or anything, but it is definitely a glimpse into my every day home life.
Small Barn Makeover Vlog
I have to say I really enjoyed making this video. I wrote an article for my blog about the barn makeover, but it was so much fun to make a video about it. Sometimes it’s fun to do something different, and this week I had 2 videos different than what I usually do.
DIY Custom Horse Stall Name Signs
I had so much fun with this! When I was painting my custom horse brush, I loved this pattern so much and I started thinking about how cool this would look as a stall sign. So, that’s what I did! I made some stall signs! And I did it all with stuff that I already had. I didn’t have to go out and buy anything!
What’s coming Next Week?
I have a habit of coming up with video ideas early in the morning. So I write down all of the ideas that come to me while I am drinking my coffee. Right now I have over 200 video ideas. I know that sounds like a lot, but I am always looking for more! I wish I were independently wealthy, then I could just make videos and write blog posts every day of the week.
So far I have one video almost done for next week, and I actually have about 4 that I could put together. And since I am on a kick of doing something different, I have a really fun Halloween craft that I want to share with you guys, so that will definitely be coming out this next week. If you want to know what the other 2 are, well, you will just have to watch.
I have been able to post the recaps for 3 weeks in a row now. I hope I can continue to do this. And I hope even more, that I have lots of videos in the future to share with you here. So until next time, stay passionate, and enjoy your ride!
