100 + YouTube Video Ideas For New Channels

Ok, this post is a little bit different than what I usually do. But I know that some of you are YouTube creators, and some of you may be struggling with how to come up with new ideas of what to make your videos about.

If you didn’t know, I have a YouTube channel. I am The Budget Equestrian on YouTube. I know, shocker right? If this is news to you, I would LOVE it if you would go and subscribe to my channel and watch some of my videos! (Shameless plug 🙂 )

Coming Up With Video Ideas

And while we all hope to make that one video that sky rockets our channels and goes viral, helping would be subscribers to find our videos, it can be difficult to come up with things to film. So I typed into YouTube’s search bar video ideas, and I got a lot of hits back. But the frustrating thing about the videos I found is people were saying the same things! There was very little originality to the ideas they were giving.

I decided to sit down for a bit and come up with some different ideas for videos. And in my 20 minute brainstorming session, I cam up with over 100 ideas. Well, 105 generic topics to be precise. And here are my ideas…

And just to start off with a disclaimer. I am NOT an expert on all things YouTube. I have been crafting videos for a few years now, and I have learned the ropes of YouTube, which is always changing. I am always researching, and reviewing algorithms, learning about thumbnails, titles and tags. And working through what works, and also what doesn’t. I would like to think I am somewhat knowledgeable about the process of having a YouTube channel, but I am by no means an expert or an educator.

Let’s Go Make Some Videos!

Now how is that list for you? 105 ideas, and then if you take the ideas within each idea, you could have enough content for your channel for a long, long time!

And these are not the generic ideas that I have found other YouTuber’s sharing. These are real ideas that you can make videos about! And the best part is, you can relate them to anything, no matter what your channel is about.

Honestly, I didn’t know how easy it would be to come up with over 100 ideas for videos. Just think about how you could get even more specific with video ideas for your own channel.

Mastering YouTube

Coming up with the ideas for me is easy. Now creating the videos, that’s an entirely different project! I have been on YouTube for over 3 years now. And I have over 500 videos. It takes me a little longer to execute the ideas into videos than simply coming up with a video idea. But after I look at this list, it motivates me to go make even more videos.

Budget equestrian YouTube videos

I hope this was helpful for you, and maybe you found an idea or two that you can work with for your own YouTube channel. The biggest takeaway I want to give you though is there are thousands of ideas for videos. You just have to pick a few that work for you, and go crazy!
